When do we apply to nursing programs?

2 year nursing programs, after high school?

  • does anyone know good nursing programs in mass, that i should look at for my nursing program? i only want to go for a 2 Year nursing program, not a college for 4 years, any advice too would be helpful thanks!

  • Answer:

Which part of MA are you from? Community Colleges are great for 2 year nursing programs. Also, some Hospitals will have an affiliate program with a 2 year RN program. In the meantime try searching through these: http://www.edref.com/college-degrees/health-care/nursing/massachusetts Just skip past the online distance learning programs, and to the bottom where the MA programs are. Good luck!

Other answers

Many of our community colleges have programs leading to an Associate Degree in nursing. As with all 2 and 4 year nursing programs, acceptance is extremely competitive and most programs have waiting lists. Make your inquiries early. Some CCs have continuing education programs geared toward high school students, and you may be able to get some requirements out of the way early. Make sure you're taking the high school courses that are required for the program you want.
