Does anyone know of any good Esthetician schools in the RI, MA, CT area?

Pros and cons of moving from IL to MA?? Help!?

  • I'm a freshmen in high school in the chicagoland area. My dad is fed up with his job and wants a new one soon and badly. I have lived in the same house for (almost) my entire life (minus two years when I was a baby living about twenty min away). Two months ago, my dad was interviewing for a job in TN. Obviously, they chose some other guy. I was so relieved because I realllllly didn't want to leave my friends, bf, family, and home. I thought everything would be normal, and I would spend all my high schools years here in IL. But no. My dad had a right to get fed up though. Some idiot cancelled peoples credit cards a day before they were laid off. Then he had to lie to them. Plus, everyone comes to him for every little problem. He was picking me up from school today and he was talking to this guy from some company in MA. I overheard him say that my mom said they could move out of state. Don't I get a say???? I reallllllly don't want to move! TN was okay-ish because it wasn't that far away, but MA is half the country away! Please tell me pros (mainly these so maybe it could convince me (most likely not though)!) and cons (I already know most of them so...) of moving from IL to MA (or like RI or CT since that's what my dad said)!!!!!!! Hurry! Thx! :/ !

Pros: It can be exciting moving to a new state, having a new house, going to a new school, etc... You can meet new friends and still keep in touch with old friends and be able to tell them all about your new home....besides, you friends might be jealous. Another pro I would think of is living near the ocean (if you like the ocean). I would recommend if you moved to Mass or R.I. to live somewhere near the coast. what's good about that too is the inland areas seem to get more snow than the coastal area. The winter in Boston seems a little less harsh than Chicago's winters. Last but not least, you can brag about having the best sports teams in the country, red sox and patriots, that is if you like sports. Cons: can't think of any.....except missing friends but in this world of facebook and twitter its not so hard to keep in touch with people anymore. Good luck, hope i helped :-)

It really depends on where you are in the state. There is a huge difference between Boston, Stockbridge and Provincetown. But anyway I shall do my best Pro: liberal, progressive culture lots to do close to the beach and mountains fall is very pretty really good seafood cons: winter is goddawful, but you are from Illinois, so there won't be too much difference drivers are extremely aggressive, the closer to Boston you get the worse the drivers are other locals ten to be sports crazy the locals are proud of history and culture
