What are some things I must see in Philly?

What are some must-see, must-do, must-eat things/places in Boston?

  • My husband and I are visiting Boston in late July for his 30th birthday (just for a weekend), and we are going to a Sox game on Saturday night. I would love to know, especially from locals, where the really great restaurants are, what some really fun attractions are, great locations to visit, etc. Thanks!!

Boston is a really wonderful city with a lot to offer. My top picks are the Back Bay, including the Prudential Center and Copley Mall, as well as Newbury S,t and the North End "Little Italy" which has great boutiques (like "Shake the Tree" on Salem St.) and Modern Pastry which is much less "touristy" than Mike's and is my personal favorite- so I've heard! Quincy Market tends to be geared more toward tourists, but check out the building in the middle of the two which is filled with every food you could ever want. I would also recommend asking your hotel for information on a harbor cruise at sunset, it's a great romantic way to end the day. The cruises are located by the New England Aquarium aside the Marriott Hotel. And as for restaurants, just ask around, everyone here has their favorite! Have a great trip! <3
