How do I get to the North Leominster train station if I'm taking the MBTA?

I'm going to be coming from Kingston train station. I think i have it right so far..I go on the Kingston train, go to South Station, go on the red line, get off at Porter Sq., and then Im lost. I'm supposed to get off at Porter Sq. and then find the train that goes to the North Leominster train station. Please help!

You're better off going from South Station to the Fitchburg/South Acton line at North Station than taking the Red Line to Porter Square to pick up the Fitchburg line. But either way will do. North Leominster is the next to last station out west. BTW, cab is quite expensive going that far west. Try finding a cabbie wanting _that_ fare.
