C.I.T Job for 13 year old in Massachusetts? Around Boston?

  • Okay so im turning 13 and want to become a cit in the summer. I heard thats the youngest age for some places- so does anyone have any links to websites with summer camps? Im great with kids [loads of babysitting] and so if anyone could link me to summer camps in Massachusetts where i could be a C.I.T That'd be great. Thanks <3 Please answer seriously. My parents want me to try to be one in the summer. Btw im a girl- dont ask why the name says noah lol.

    well 13 is a bit young to be a cit. What about being a day camper at the Metrowest YMCA in hopkinton? You can be a camper til 14. then at 15, you are a "leader in training" then at 16 you are a cit

You are probably too young. Most camps hire CITs from kids who have gone to their camps in the previous summers. Google Massachusetts association of Accredted Summer Camps and email them.

I was a CIT at 13 at Beaver Country Day summer camp in Newton. It's not too far from Boston, and it's even accessible by T. I had a lot of fun there. Good luck!
