Are there Taxis available at Philadelphia International?

Do you know of wheelchair accessible taxis (with platform lift) in boston or philadelphia?

  • Answer:

Try Veteran's Taxi...it is based in Watertown/Newton about 5 miles outside of Boston but they actually run the MBTA "The Ride" service which provides taxi service for disabled/handicapped people in place of public transportation. So they definately have accessible taxis just give them a call. Look it up in the yellow pages or citysearch.

In Philadelphia, there are two or three mini-vans that are cabs. But most cabs are sedans. Try Olde city Cab or ,Crescent Cab,

There are public taxis that are wheelchair accessible in Boston, but not with platform lift. The public MBTA operates The Ride, but you have to make an appointment and register with the Ride. I would recommend you go to their website or give them a call ahead of time.
