How do I get to Providence Station from South Station Train (Massachusetts)?

My friends and I take the train all the time, but I've never traveled this far. I know the basic route to get from Ashmont to South Station, but once at South Station I'm clueless as to how to get to Providence Station. My ultimate destination is Providence Place Mall from Ashmont Station, MA.I just need some detailed helpful directions please. (Massachusetts). Thank You.

Answer:
At South Station, go upstairs into the terminal. Look up at the trains board, and see when the next train to Providence leaves. (Providence is the last stop for that line.) Go to the ticket booth and get a ticket. The board will tell you which platform the train leaves from. Get on the train. The Mall is quite close to the station, look for the signs. Amtrak also gets you there a bit faster, but it's more expensive.
