Where is a good place to live in Georgetown?

Which is a nicer place to live Georgetown or Round Rock,tx?

  Hi :) It really depends on what you're looking for (how old you are, where you are in your life, where you are going to work, etc). However, I can speak from some personal experience. Maybe it will help. I went to school in Georgetown (elementary through high school). My mom still lives there. Georgetown has more of a small-town feel than Round Rock. It's a decent sized town, and it's growing extremely fast, yet I feel it is keeping its cozy feeling. They still have the Christmas walk/parade around the square, and San Gabriel park is still packed with families bbq'ing on the weekends. It has everything you need (new shopping centers, Starbucks, movie theater, etc). It's a little bit of a longer drive to Austin, being that it is North of Round Rock...but not much of a difference at all to be honest. I live in downtown Austin now, but if I had to pick, I would pick Georgetown every time.
