How have underwater hotels been making?

Is there such thing as walk in motels/hotels without making reservatation?

• i own a debit but i don't like using it i usually prefer cash, but is there walk ins where they take you?

  Sure, any hotel or motel will let you walk in and get a room, as long as they have a vacancy. You might even be able to bargain with them for room rates, because late in the day, if all the rooms aren't filled, some hotels will offer discounts. They probably make more money renting the room for half price than they do by having it empty. When reservations are essential is when all the hotels are full, as when there's a big convention in town, or when people have been evacuated from a hurricane zone nearby (the latter happened to me once in San Antonio-- there wasn't a vacant hotel bed in the whole city).
