Want to move to Austin TX, what are the nice neighborhoods? Are there many jobs in education, tech, design?

Answer:
Jobs are ok...definitely signs of improvement there. Good neighborhoods are scattered; and that depends on what you mean by nice. South central area is great- older but not dilapidated, has a "older Austin" feel to it, mixed population. Tarrytown, Allendale, Hyde Park ($$), and Northwest Hills are all good older-but-nice areas too. If you want something newer, the Wells Branch area, Scofield, and Gracy Farms areas are good.
