What are the most dangerous areas out side 285 Atlanta GA,? Mairrietta and Smyrna rising crime rate?

    I think Norcross or Roswell would just be as bad. I live in the Marietta/Vinings/Smyrna area just outside of I-285 and the part of town I live in I feel safe, although car break-ins have been on the rise - but you can prevent that by not leaving valuable items out in the open in your car. I would stay away from parts of Cobb Pkwy, Cumberland Pkwy, and Windy Hill, but other than that I think most of the area is fine. You are better on the north side of I-285 than you are south of the city.
