How do I find free public records?

How can you find out if an address is real for free without having public records of the residence?

  • Already tried YellowPages and WhitePages. The address is not in public records, not published, but I just need to know if it is a real address.

    Try this: http://www.usps.com/zip4/welcome.htm?from=home&page=2132findzip Put the address you have, street number, city, state...nothing else. If the address is real you will get a ZIP+4. If it is not real the system will tell you something like: We're sorry! We were unable to process your request. The address was not found. Please check the address below. You may want to utilize the Yellow Pages and/or White Pages below. Good luck!

Use the address on mapquest as your destination. If it can't locate the address than more than likely it doesn't exist.
