Are apartments near Armstrong Atlantic State University, in Savannah, cheap?

  • I'm attending AASU you and I am considering an apartment closer to my 2nd year or 3rd year there. Are they realitively cheap because of the college there? And what are some good and affordable apartments?

    In general, apartments are not "cheap because of the college" in any college town. There's a captive audience, so they can charge whatever they want. In addition, you'd have the expense of setting up an apartment and you'd have to take care of it, too, which takes time. Utilities, grocery shopping/meal prep, roommates who drop out or are a pain to live with, etc., etc. It's not as easy as you might think.

No actually near AASU you can find alot of steals. Because that really isnt a good part of town. the Ghetto is about a mile from there. Now understand its nothing to be scared of, just low incomes.
