Skatepark jobs; what do they involve?

• Yeah, I am going to have an interview for a job at a skatepark, and I was wondering what type of things do skatepark attendants do, or what requirements they should have. Do I need to know how to skate or bmx? I know a little about skating, but I suck on a skateboard, and the same for bmx, but I love skateboarding. Just wondering....

  I would expect the attendent to do the following: - collect entrance fees or check member cards (if you have to pay to use it). - make sure people are following safety rules (helmets, within authorized areas). - sell snacks or sodas if there is on-site food - answer the phone and in person questions - basic first aid would be a good skill to have - using good judgement, know how to communicate with people Of course, knowing how to skate or BMX night be helpful, but I think being responsible and willing to enforce rules would be more important.
