Snow Mountain at Stone Mountain, anyone been?

My wife called there last Monday and asked about it, as the ads said it was open on the 31st...but she was told to come on in on Tuesday the 30th. So, we took the daughter and two grand kids...needless to say, no snow...the ads were right all along. I felt the price as an out-right con for "fun" received. We got there before five, and some of the some shops started closing at 7:30, even though it was suppose to be open until 9:00. The 4-D movie was the best thing we did. My 11 year old grandson and I took the train ride to see the lights...after an hour wait standing in line, only to see less lights in total than I have in my front yard. We couldn't even find an open place after it to buy a cup of hot cocoa. My recommendation to you would be to save the bucks and do something else and my recommendation to Stone Mountain Park would be to call in the Disney folks to show them how to put on a real show.

Its really good for kids. I took my 8 year old daughter and she had a blast! The one con is the cover price but it is something new to try. It is much bigger than in the picture and its not on any platform. The hill it is on is where the laser light show seating is so it has to be big for that. I would say 50 feet wide and about 1 and 1/2 football fields long
