Can you recommend a hotel?

  • Can anyone recommend a hotel in Marietta thats in a good area? Me and my boyfriend are attending the Hawks and Lakers game on Sunday March 29, and we're trying to find a nice hotel at a reasonable price. We didnt really care about staying downtown. Is Marietta a safe area at night or has a decent hotel in the area that isnt in a bad area? If not Marietta, can you recommend another area that isnt too far from downtown? I searched websites but I still dont know how the area is. Help please!

    Try the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta/Wildwood at the intersection of Windy Hill Road & Powers Ferry Road. Its a decent area. Its at 3045 Windy Hill Road, Marietta. I live in the area and there are several restaurants walking distance from the hotel. I would recommend to you best value inn .It is very clean and the prices are around $50 .you may check the availability or book from their website . Have fun!! :)

There is a very nice Radisson at Cumberland Mall. A Doubletree across the street. There is a Marriott off Windy Hill. Sure the area is safe. If you want something closer to downtown but not in downtown, check out the Doubletree at North Druid Hills off I-85 or the Centry Center Marriott at Clairmont and I-85. Both of them are reasonably close to downtown.
