How easy is it to move from Canada to the USA?

I want to move to the USA from Canada. How would i go about doing that?

  • Answer:

You won't be able to work legally until you get a visa from an employer (like H1B) or apply for permanent residency. Canadians are allowed to stay for up to six months in the US without a visa, but cannot work. If you decide to work without a visa, you could probably find suitable employment, but employers are supposed to record your U.S. ID (like social security card and birth certificate or passport). Some will, or some won't. If you get caught, you could be deported and not allowed to return. Obviously, there are plenty of foreigners in the U.S. who work without the proper authorization.

start by driving south. Stop when you see signs only in English.

Look around online for an area you like, & start looking for a place. When you find one pack up & come on down! We enjoy our neighbors from the north, just not the south! GOD BLESS AMERICA THE BEST DAMN COUNTRY IN THE WORLD

No, don't do that! The next thing you know you are paying massive amounts of taxes and are in debt. Stay in Canada.

U R lucky to be in canada. But if you insist, contact immigration in the USA.

Come over the border and find a job where they don't check your background. Millions of Mexicans have done it.
