Best place to go for spring break with family? (Near Atlanta, GA) ***10POINTS***?

  • Im living in Atlanta, GA and we wanted to see if we can go somewhere for spring break (not to far, maximum 5 hours with car) Can you list some good places to go near Atlanta, GA with my family?

    Like many spring-breakers, you can drive to Panama City and go to the beach. You can do a combo of Charleston and Savannah, or drive to New Orleans (which is a place I love.) Off season, Litchfield in Pawley's Island is pretty inexpensive and you're a stone's throw from Myrtle Beach. (Litchfield has an indoor pool, gym and a really nice beach to walk on even if it's too cold to swim.) While you wouldn't necessarily want to spend a week in Nashville, it's a cool place to visit for a couple of days, and not particularly far from Atlanta. Or Dollywood, if you like that sort of thing!

The aquarium in Atlanta is awesome. Theres the Coke Factory as well. Savannah is less than 5 hours away, they have nice tours of the downtown area. Charleston, NC is nice too, but i dont know the distance.
