How long does it take for a package mailed from England to reach the USA? It was mailed standard airmail.?

    I have friends in Colchester, England and another in Caerphilly S. Wales. Both mailed packages to me that I received here in Texas in 7 days. On the other hand, I mailed packages to both from here International First Class which is supposedly with a 7 to 10 business working days delivery date. But they were not received by either for 7 weeks and 3 days. They should have gone to Dallas, then flown to Harwich. Instead, they went by sea.....on a slow boat to Ipswich.
