• ROLL CALL!!! Where are you from? Top 3 things you LOVE about where you live! Top 3 things you DISLKIKE about where you live! I'm from Connecticut, USA LOVE 1. The four seasons - winter, spring, summer, fall 2. The location is halfway between Boston, MA and New York City! Therefore lots of great shopping, food and ton of things to do! and you can get from one side of the state to the other in less then 3 hours. 3. Most of the people here are very friendly and of a higher socioeconomic class allowing more freedoms and ability to live the good life. Dislike- 1.) Cost of living...with the good life comes expensive real estate...land here is very expensive. CT is the wealthiest state in the US. 2.) Traffic and roads being congested...I realize this is not like it is in Los Angles, CA but esp int he summer on the shore it's murder! RTE 95!!! sucks 3.) The distance from here to the west coast...or heck even my favorite place...LAS VEGAS!

  Toronto, Ontario Things I love: 1. The CN Tower is still much taller than most buildings (even if it breaks my heart to know it's not the world's tallest freestanding building anymore. That's okay, I think it's still considered one of the seven wonders of the modern world!) 2. It's quite the metropolis. Honestly, I have visited many cities in North America and I am always disappointed when a city doesn't look very city. I love the sky scrappers! 3. Toronto has tons of literary events. Many great writers are either from here or reside here. As an English major, I love the amount of literary culture in this city. Things I dislike: 1. Hwy 401 is the most travelled freeway in North America. It's always congested, but worse, the condition of most of the road especially in peak areas is terrible. It does bad stuff to my car! 2. When people call it T.O or T-Dot. That's got to be two of the most annoying nicknames! 3. That most of Canada hates us.
