Where is a good spot to vacation near New Jersey?

Whats a good vacation spot in New Jersey for a young couple?

• Our Ages are 20 and 22, So being underage I don't care about bar or club scene. Were just looking for a place on the coast with a great beach and lots of somewhat cheap activities.

  You are going to run into one big problem -- most hotels at the shore won't allow someone under the age of 25 to book a room. If you can get around that rule, I recommend Wildwood. It is a little more family oriented of a boardwalk as opposed to Seaside (which is chock full of bars) and it is also pretty large, there is even a waterpark as well as the usual boardwalk stuff. The beach is beautiful, it is close to Cape May where you can take a carriage ride around the historic town, check out the lighthouse, and sunset beach, The Cape May County Zoo is also fun. And when in Cape May or its vicinity, you've got to eat at The Lobster House (AMAZING!) Another option, if you don't want to go that far south is Point Pleasant. Also more family, less bar oriented, but its quite a bit smaller than wildwood, no waterpark, and a little less in the area to keep yourself entertained. Long Beach Island is somewhat in-between Point Pleasant & Wildwood. There really is no boardwalk to speak of, but there are things to do on the island and the beaches are great.
