My vacation is ruined! Scattered t-storms at Virginia Beach all week!?

I'm leaving for Virginia Beach, VA tomorrow morning and I just looked at the forecast and its calling for scattered thunderstorms all week long! :( is my vacation ruined. am i not going to be able to have a enjoyable day at the beach with a nice tan to come home with? please help! http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USVA0797

the weather does change, they aren't always right. even if it rains it will not rain all day. if it rains try to do something fun and try to stay positive

Scattered thunderstorms doesn't mean rain all day every day. It may not rain at all in the area where you are and may rain overnight. Or it may not rain at all on some days. If you look at the details, the highest chance of rain is 60% on Friday other days through the weekend are in the range 30 - 50%. Thunderstorms tend to be short duration; if they occur, then it can rain for a while and be hot and sunny an hour later. There's no point in worrying about this now.
