Whats the best country youve ever visited?

Oh wow... I don't know if I can pick just one. About 6 years ago, when I moved my boat to Antigua, I sort of adopted that country as my 'home country' and, even though it's a small island.. I love it there.. one of these days I'll spend more than just 6 or 7 months during the winter there. You mentioned Thialand... I have been there but didn't really care that much for it. I lived in Vientien, Laos for a couple of years and that was a fascinating place to live.. but not what I would call the 'best'. I suppose Spain would be at the top of any 'best country I have lived in' list... one of the top 5 anyway. I lived on my boat in the Yacht Harbor in Barcelona and truly loved the town and the people... I hated leaving there.

Having visited about 40 countries, there are none that I regret but my favorites are scattered around the baltic-- Sweden (beautiful scenery and friendly people, iffy food), Russia (also beautiful, an a fascinating study of contrasts) and French Polynesia-- perhaps the most relaxed place on earth, if a bit over populated.

Hmm, I love all the countries Ive visited but im going to have to say Greece. I went there with my friend, my family and brothers girlfriend. It was really fun, hot and I went scuba diving in the Cretan sea, so ya it was the best.

I like Thailand also plus my wife is thai.I have been to several places but would have to say the best place in have been is New Zealand and Switzerland.But i would take New Zealand over Switzerland.
