What is the weather like in NC this month?

Question about NC weather?

  • My Fiance' and I are sick of this crappy Pennsylvania weather and wanted to come spend about 4 days in the Topsail, NC area. But, we don't wanna leave the dreary PA weather for just as cold NC weather. Can someone please tell me if it's warm in Topsail around beginning/middle of October. Thanks so much!

  • Answer:

I live 15 minutes from Topsail! Sadly, the day summer ended, there was a noticeable change in weather..It's been rainy and cloudy and rather cold the past few days. The weather is supposed to clear up after the weekend, but I'm not sure about early/mid October. Luckily there's not that great a fluctuation in weather in coastal NC because we live right by the ocean. It should still be noticeably warmer than Penn. as long as you pick a few days with clear skies! Just a word of advice, if you plan on doing this next year go for the summer months! It's absolutely incredible.

i live about 10 minutes from topsail and beginning of october is hurricane season so it rains a LOT. this year the weather is not that great a lot of overcast skies. definitely warmer than most areas though. we've had a few good days this week....it varies. pick a date and google the forecast for those days.

Nobody can predict the weather that far in advance, but Typical fall day is warm daytime and cool nights
