How can I chat with other people?

How can i talk to people on computer?not chat rooms...how do you blog? how can i write interesting people?wher

• i'm totally computer illeterate...wake me up to the 21st century...what is a blackberry?...how/what do i do to write "blogs?"....more importantly, how would i go about finding the right interesting people to write to in or outside of the country?...Ex.if i wanted to write distant relatives from Norway,how would i do it?...i just am lonely and want to know how to engage w/ people via computer w/out personals?

  Ok, you obviously have a Yahoo account. If you want to chat only with specific people, you can go to http://www.xatech.com/web_gear/?cb and get a completely free chat. They will generate what is called an "HTML Code" for your box that you yourself design. (It's easy, just pick a bg and your own icon). You copy that "HTML Code" and then open up your Yahoo 360 page. Click on "Blog". Then click on "Compose Blog Entry". Just above the box on the left hand side of the page, you will see "View HTML Source" Click it. Then paste the code you copied into it. Click "Post This Entry". The box will appear in your blog that automatically logs you in when you open your blog. Then you can invite anyone you want, even the public if you set your setting to Public Viewing, and can chat in safety from there. Good luck!
