Where can i go for my gap year?

  • I want to go on a gap year before uni, i may be going on my own, so i want somewhere i can feel reasonably safe. Also i don't have a massive budget. Any potential destinations or any good gap year companies people know of.

    Americorps or City Year is good if you like to volunteer and help people. I did City Year in Philadelphia and it was one of the best experiences in my life. You get to meet lots of diverse and cool people and they even give you some money towards college when you finish the program.

Hi If you wanna feel safe travel to borneo.....it is amazing and fantastic! I have also been to africa which is great but if you are going alone would be best to do a voluntary program. Real gap is good for gap years but can get expensive. Responsible travel is good too.I would put a search in google for gap year travel. But you are probably gonna pay quite alot unless you just plan on travelling around and staying in hostels etc.
