What is the best frequent flyer program out there?

Which is the best frequent flyer program in US?

  • i am looking for a program which gives a free round trip in US after you accumulate points. which is the better one when you think in these terms? my friend says "united" is pretty good. they give one when u have 25000 points.

  • Answer:

I used to like American but they then started to charge $100 "handling fee" for what was supposed to be free tickets. Now I use United. United flies everywhere including overseas. Their flight attendants are often old and officious, but so are all others with North American based carriers. For personal travel, I like Southwest. They give you a free ticket after 8 trips.

what region are you in? here are the top three programs that you should enroll in. they're all free so have at it. American Airlines, Delta, and United. I'm a current frequent flyer with both Delta and United airlines. I use both because my company books tickets for me with those two airlines or their parters everytime. Delta and United parter with multiple carriers all of which you can earn mileage and points earning you rewards/ free flights quicker. You have to fly quite often or participate in non-flying activities that every airline parters with as well (i.e. Credit cards, hotels, rental cars, restaurants. I currently have over 25000 miles with both of my accounts and I'm looking forward to flying somewhere soon for free.
