Where should I go on vacation?

I really want to go on vacation, but my family wants to go on a big vacation. So we have planned out that we won't go on vacation for a couple years, then go somewhere fantastic! Where should we go? What is your FAVORITE vacation destination?
Answer:

GREECE, hands down. You could visit Italy while you're over there (I liked Rome and Venice best, Florence is a little over-rated, and Naples is a pit), but really, there's no comparison to Greece. Go during the shoulder or off-season, and plan on only staying in Athens a day or two. There's more to see up around Thessaloniki, in the center of the country, and island-hopping. The people, the food, the sights... everything is wonderful.
