Can travel to france with a?

Can I travel to France with my new passport with my visa in my old passport. I will take both passports?

  • I have just got my passport replaced and have found that my valid schengen visa has not been tranferred. Many countries all you to travel to them with visas in old passports. I cannot find out if France allows this. Could someone please confirm. I need to travel on business on Sunday 15th! Many thanks, Ben Godsmark

  • Answer:

I recommend getting intouch with the Schengen Office. They are a little difficult to get hold of sometimes but they hopefully should be able to advise you whether you can travel or not. I imagine you would need to take both passports with you to show the visa. I hope this helps more than some of the other suggestions!

We'll need to know what country you are from (the country of your passport) If you are from USA or EU, you don't need a visa. For other countries, it is required.

Go and ask the French Consult. It is the only safe thing to do. ASlso get their name.

You should call either the French embassy in your country, or your country's embassy in Paris
