What is meant by "the outpost crown of New France?

Help! LOST PASSPORT & MEANT TO BE TRAVELLING TO FRANCE 2NITE!!!?

  • PLEASE HELP! My parents are travelling to France this evening from Newhaven to Deippe... My father travels alot with work and cannot find his passport. He does have an old passport however... Has anyone been in this situation? Would he be allowed through with his old passport if he explained what happened or had seemingly brought the wrong passport with him?! Do they really look at the passports at customs (especially ports/ferries) or would you recommend he chances it?! Is there any way they could call the Passport Office to verify that he does have an active current passport?! Thanks for all your advice guys!!! Panic on at my house!!! :-)

    Fear not! HIS OLD PASSPORT IS GOOD FOR TRAVEL TO FRANCE. Providing... It is not expired more than 5 years. This is fact.

Call your Passport Agent...you should have a 1-800 number to call...give them your SS# etc... They would issue another one once you get to the gate and make sure you have your driver licence....to issue another one.... The Passport Agent will have your paperwork etc.. or for you to issue another one... Good Luck

He is in a world of hurt... losing a passport is just about the worst offense you can commit as an honest, tax paying citizen. He will be lucky to get a new one in less than 3 or 4 months and will have to prove the passport was actually lost.

I know someone who was in a similar situation but this was two weeks before the flight and they only just managed to get a new one in time. Don't bother they will check it because they now scan the passport not just look at it. So first it will tell you if it is vlaid or not. I'm sorry but unless you find it I guess you won't be going.
