What are some cheap but good field trips to go to?

Do u need a passport to go on field trips out of the country?

  • I don't have a passport and my school is going to gO to a music retreat in the USA... I'm thinking since I'm going with the school I wouldn't need one because they should know a school is nOt smuggling anyone so would I need one cause Idk

    In general, you do need a passport to go from Canada to the US. "They should know a school is not smuggling anyone" is totally absurd. Some private religious school could be training terrorists. When border security was increased and a birth certificate and driver's license were no longer sufficient for passing between the US and Canada, there was an exception made for certain groups containing children, since many children might have been deprived of certain experiences because their parents were unwilling or unable to pay to get a passport for a one-time event: Groups of Children: Beginning June 1, 2009, U.S. and Canadian citizen children under age 19 arriving by land or sea from contiguous territory and traveling with a school group, religious group, social or cultural organization, or sports team, may also present an original or copy of his or her birth certificate, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, a Naturalization Certificate, or a Canadian Citizenship Card. The group should be prepared to present a letter on organizational letterhead with the following information: The name of the group and supervising adult, A list of the children on the trip, and the primary address, phone number, date of birth, place of birth, and name of at least one parent or legal guardian for each child, A written and signed statement of the supervising adult certifying that he or she has obtained parental or legal guardian consent for each participating child.

Yea you do. My cousins went on a field trip for their school but had to get their passports before they could go.

If school groups were not checked, then smugglers would immediately find a way to take advantage of that. If you happen to be flying, then you absolutely need a passport. Whoever is organizing this trip SHOULD HAVE TOLD everyone what the requirements are.

To enter the US from another country you need a passport, otherwise you will spend your entire trip in the airport waiting to be deported. You will also need a passport to be readmitted to your country. Word clue Pass= permission to enter port= new place (country of entry)
