wel come to Surat. It seems you know surat but out of touch for long. any way, weather in surat in december is quite pleasant, not much of cold and certainly no heat. In this month, one must enjoy malai & oondhiyu in surat. Also, ponk ( roasted millet) is the snacks of the season & extremely popular. Now, for shopping... diamonds from any good jeweller. You can find reliable persons and shops in many posh areas. Best may be adajan patia & parle point. for clothes, particularly sarees, Bombay market is the right place.
