Which country or city in your opinion has the best architecture whether its old or modern?

You're right, it is quite a subjective question. It's like asking "Who was a better artist, Van Gogh or Botticelli?" Both are great, but for different reasons. It is very much a matter of personal taste. Frankly, I love Stockholm because of its huge variety of architecture. You can find buildings that are hundreds of years old, palaces that were inspired by Versailles and cutting edge modern architecture. The subway system has been called "the world's longest art gallery" because each station is unique and most contain fantastic examples of public art and design. Paris was certainly dazzling, and the modern architecture of Berlin is innovative, but there is an honesty and practicality to Stockholm's architecture that I find refreshing.
