Would you prefer living in London, NYC, or New Zealand?
-
I'm aware that you can't really compare two world cities to any significantly smaller city in NZ, but I'm just askin'... If money and job opportunities weren't a problem, where would you rather move to - one of the nicer neighborhoods of London or NYC, or New Zealand (Wellington perhaps? anywhere but Auckland), and WHY? I'm considering moving to one of these places (and staying there... for at least ten years), but I'm having a hard time making a decision. While I grew up in a city of 250,000 people and am bored out of my mind here, I think I might love New Zealand for its variety of outdoor activities, but I might also get bored quickly. Same with London and NYC, I don't know if I could handle the hustle and bustle. Need some second opinions...

Answer:
New Zeeland any day of the week! Much better then this crumbling country taken over by illegal immigrants! NYC is only good if you got money to burn or you are famous.

Probably New Zealand. Becasue New york and london are too busy and pollouted for me... especially NYC... but i'v ealways wanted to go there for like 3 days or something... not ten years. The only place out of America i've ever wanted to move to is a island in Greece, and Australia (i don't know why...)
London coz that's where I'm from. But I'm not gonna live here when I'm older. JUst of the three, London would be what I pick. I would never want to live in America and New Zealand doesn't really seem appealing to me. London has more to do and see and you really feel part of a like big city. Like you 'rep your ends' and stuff and make friends on the train and stuff. I'd hate to live in London if I was like over 60 though, that would be dreadful.

Back to Ldn. New York is just too big, i would be tired of saying, ok ok i'll be there in 5hours. That's just long. New Zealand doesn't really attracts me either, duno why. I would go there yeah and to the states as well, but not to live there. But if u'd say Detroid instead of N.Y.C. it might would of got me thinking still. x

I live in NYC, love it here. New Zealand is beautiful I went there several times just prepare to pay more for everything. London is a small NYC with less life.

I have been to all three places: NYC is too restricted and I don't like feeling tied in by the place. The people are mixed: very friendly or down-right arseholes- more friendly than rude in all. New Zealand is a lovely country, but if you are bored with your home town, then don't move to the towns. I stayed in Taupo, but it was more like a village. London is great in that you can be out of the city in less than an hour, to Oxford or Brighton. However, London is massive, I worked in the centre and lived the north east. By bus, it too me 2 hours to get there from door to door. I was cynical about London, but out of all the cities I finally appreciated what a great, but expensive place it was. It has many parks for chilling and great history. If I had money and lived in London again, the west end would be my favourite choice - only because the east - Walthanstow did not have a lot of leisure activities. I worked just off the Whitechapel rd - ie, Jack the Ripper and where Kray twins murdered some rival. It is a very rough , poor part of London, but I loved that area because it's so multicultural.
