Holiday Ideas please?
-
I get my annual bonus from work at the beginning of September and I quite fancy getting one of those last minute deals on a holiday. My best friend and I fancy one of those All Inclusive holidays (that way it saves on spending money). We would like sun and a nice beach (maybe Egypt?) Is it worth waiting and risking it or should we book now and pay it off gradually? Do you get any good deals? We are wanting to go for a fortnight, but our budget is around £300 - £350 and we would like a lively resort with a good nightlife. We don't really fancy the tacky Lanzarote or Tenerife package holidays. Any ideas would be very helpful. Thank you :)

Answer:
You are not going to get 2 weeks all inclusive for that amount. I would wait til the very last minute and go to dial a flight and you will probably get one week all inclusive in The Red Sea. Depending on where you are flying from you may need an internal flight which is going to add to your cost. On that budget you would be best looking for an all inclusive as you will not need spending money on top. With that in mind you may be able to take some of your spending cash and put it to the cost of the holiday. Good Luck

@ Above, I'm not sure that you do need vaccinations to travel to Egypt or Tunisia, not anything more than the vaccinations that most people already have. I would just wait and book something last minute. With that sort of budget this helps you to go a bit further. I have done this in the past, although I have never managed to stay in a hotel for a week, normally getting a rental car and exploring somewhere nearby for a night or two. All Inclusive sounds nice, but it does stop you from trying the local restaurants and markets.

Personally, I'd always choose Florida - and you can do it really cheaply too. BUT if not, you could check out www.holiday.co.uk. I got £173.00 total for 2 people for 2 weeks in Turkey last year. It wasn't all-inclusive but for that price, who cares! They might have some AIl inclusive deals.
