How do i travel alone to Italy from Spain?

How much would it cost to travel from US to Spain, Italy, AND Ireland?

• in 2014 me and my bestfriend want to fly to Spain, then drive to Italy ( Could we rent a car..? orr..?) then drive through France and fly to Ireland, then Back to the United states. How much would this all cost? including hotels and buying and visiting places, thank you for your help!

  You always see the "How much would this cost or that cost" on YA and my answer is always the same even though honestly, my goal is to help you. No one can tell you how much an adventure like this would cost because we don't know you. We can give you a ballpark but that's all it would be, a total guess. Not knowing your spending habits, how frugal or budget conscious you are makes even a guess a little more than a wag. So here goes my guess - 2014 is more than 2 years off so a guess on how much the airfare would be, rental car, hotels and the exchange rate (if the Euro survives the current crisis) is unknown. Round trip airfare to Spain - $1000 US I would suggest the train as opposed to driving since taking rental cars across international borders for a foreign driver can be problematic but what's more, can be extremely expensive. So.... Euro Rail Pass purchased in the US $800 for 1 month Budget for lodging and food ONLY per day $200 Cheap RYNAIR flights to Dublin from Paris or Rome $200 Now as for "buying and visiting places". I have no idea of your shopping habits and how many you would be buying for or what places you like to see. Walking around Rome is completely free and seeing most of the sights is pennies but you'll have to put this together later. What I do when I plan for a trip like this is print off a calendar that includes the dates of your trip. Write in a rough itinerary and then start plugging in costs associated. You will see after some work and research on the internet, you will have a pretty good picture of when you're going to each location, how you're getting there and how much it is going to cost.
