What is a good place to take a vacation?

Wheres a good place to take a vacation?

  • Could be anywhere as long as its reasonably priced.

  • Answer:

Often the journey (flight) is the costliest part. India, most of Asia and Eastern Europe are cheap once you get there. Visas can make travel complicated as well as add on a lot of costs. It depends on what national passport you hold. If it is US or UK a lot of places allow you in with just a short stay tourist visa but certainly not all. A travel agent is really the best one to ask.

depends on if you want to go nationally or internationally. I ask because you may think that nationally will definitely be cheaper. I went to England for a week, and spent less than I would have spent if I had gone on a ski trip in Colorado. Also, Im not sure where you live, so I dont know what type of place you are used to. The Beaches in South Carolina are amazing during the summer. they have tons of wildlife, and the beaches are larger and more private than that in Florida. Skiing in Steamboat Springs, or Deer Valley in Colorado are also amazing places to go. If you want to go to a city, Chicago and Lake Michigan are great. And an All-around great place is Austin, Texas. The food is excellent, the people are nice, and if you are a sports fan, you can see a Texas Longhorn home game.

Havasu Falls. Unique. Beautiful. not crowded at all. But you should like to hike and camp. Although there is a helicopter in/out and a lodge. Then you could visit Sedona, AZ and Flagstaff. Tons of stuff to do- all reasonably priced.

This is a matter of taste...so If you like beaches and the tropics I recommend The Cayman Islands. However, it's expensive so a cheaper alternative is Cancun, Mexico. If you like mountains and lakes I recommend Lake Tahoe. However, it's expensive so a cheaper alternative is the Beavers Bend State Park Area of McCurtain County Oklahoma. If you like a southwestern artsy vibe then I recommend Santa Fe, New Mexico. A less expensive alternative to that city is Austin, Texas. In addition to being physically beautiful and artsy, Austin also has a great music scene.
