Where is a good place to go on vacation?

So where's a good place to go on vacation?

  • I live in Wyoming, and I absolutely HATE this state. Im going on vacation this summer, but I'm not sure where. Any ideas? I don't want to spend my whole vacation driving. Lets make my personal budget $700-$800. I might go alone or go with my mom, twin, and older sister. All are above 18 but only 2 can drink. I can't go anywhere too tropical because I am terrified of tarantulas.

  • Answer:

Go on a cruise! Go to cruisedeals.com and vacationstogo .com and search for cruises out of California ports. Drive to and from the cruise. You do not have to spend any more money over the cruise ticket and tips and parking the car and gas. You will find alone time if you want and all the activities you want including pools, saunas, shows, casino, dancing, deck games, library, great food and service. You can have a great 7 day cruise within your budget and cheaper than any resort or hotel and meals.

lol my parents want to retire and live there. :) Now to answer your question: To follow your budget unfortunately your budget makes it so you cn't leave the country. (That leaves out Japan, Brazil, England, etc.) If you hate Wyoming and hate driving then I think you'd love California, if you stay suburban and urban no spiders and not a lot of driving, just take a plane to San Diego and go to the Zoo and casinos and etc. Here's some links bout' California traveling: http://www.ca.gov/ http://www.visitcalifornia.com/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Home&ContentID=31435 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California http://maps.google.com/maps?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=california&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wl Hope your vacation goes well. :)

Well with you budget I agree...you cant really go anywhere out of the country. It depends on what you want to do on your vacation? But a really awesome place to visit would be Zion National Park, in Utah! Its simply gorgeous there! Giant red plateaus, beautiful sunsets and cozy lodges! PLUS its not too far from Wyoming. If you want to drive further, Lake Tahoe in California is a really fun spot! Good luck and happy traveling!

Where you are, it wouldn't be too bad for you to go out to the Seattle area. It is so pretty. I used to live in Colorado before I moved and I had never seen so much green in my life! The flight would be about $300-400 depending on what airline that you take. You could stay for about a week and here's what I recommend that you do. I'm not going to steer you to anything funny. I've been a local for about 7 years now. Hotels: I would recommend the Best Western at Pioneer Square. The last time I went, it was great. I hope they haven't changed it too much. (The last time I was there, it was around 6 years ago.) If you have the money, try to sleep at the Edgewater hotel just once. It is pricy, but it's soo nice. Activities: EMP (Experience Music Project) Since it's home of now dead Kurt Cobain, get into the rock style just once! This place is soo cool... trust me. Seattle Aquarium, Pike Place Market, The Space Needle, an arogosy cruise (a 2 hour one), Chinatown which is also called the International District, (You can take the light rail there even!) Queen Anne Hill: Home of Frazier, Ballard which is over the bridge from Seattle, Alki beach is a must, yeah there's a lot of stuff more. Get a map or something that will help you out a bunch. Eating: I would have to say... go to the first Starbucks in Pike's Place Market Go the Pike Place Bar and Grill in Pike Place Market... it's really good. If anything, just look around and try to find what's good. Ask some locals. They're nice unlike some countries' locals. :) Lastly, have fun!!!
