Do I really have to pay this fee to this travel agent?

  • So my parents hired a travel agent, and we been working with her with for half a week, its been 4 days sense she contacted us, so my father decided to get a different travel agent, and we got one, and she got us are tickets, FINALLY the other agent called us... and my dad told her whats up, and she told us we had to pay 450 per person for a cancellation fee? Can she do that? I mean for 4 days we called and emailed and texted her and she didn't respond... And now we owe her money? for not getting a ticket? can she do this?
