Best Frequent Flyer Program for me?
-
I would prefer a Star Alliance member airline. A quick sample of the cities I frequent: Brussels, Paris, Chicago, Copenhagen (maybe more than others), Gothenburg, Helenski, London, Newark, Oslo, and Stockholm. I'd also prefer not to fly United, US Airways, SAS, or Continental. Thanks!

Answer:
Given the 4 that you prefer not to use, then Lufthansa would probably be the best option. I have well over a million miles on my account. I live in Italy and fly frequently with Lufthansa even though my account is with another of the Star Alliance airlines. It really doesn't matter all that much which of the airlines you're registered with in terms of most of the benefits, but Lufthansa is one of the larger partners covering the area that you use most frequently.
