What to do for spring break?

What a good place to go for Spring Break 2011?

• Well me and like 4 other female friends are trying to plan a trip for Spring Break 2011, and we was wondering what are some hot spots for Spring Break? We are about to be high school seniors and by the time Spring break comes around we will all be 18. We currently stay in Atlanta and we would like to stay kind of close. Maybe like florida or something. What do you recommend?

  The truly best place for you is Cancun, Mexico - for about $900, you can go with a flight, 5 nights beachfront hotel & all inclusive. (all meals & drinks free at the hotel). Cancun is the safest place outside of the USA for spring break. I would recommend the Barcelo Costa hotel or the Oasis Cancun hotels as they are student friendly. If you cannot leave the US, I HIGHLY recommend South Padre Island, Texas. It's as far south as Miami (guaranteeing tan weather!) - and unlike most of Florida, there is NO OIL on South Padre beaches (way too far south). The spring break program is very organized here. I would recommend Saida Towers in a 1 bedroom condo on the beach. The price of this trip is about the same as Cancun, but not all inclusive with a flight. Thing is though, you have a condo so you have a full sized kitchen so meals included isn't as big of a deal.
