What is your favourite foreign country to visit / go on holiday to and why?

    I've been living in Italy for the last 11 years and still have a home in Colorado in the US. Over the years, I have been luck enough to visit most of Europe, North America and the Caribbean. I have yet to visit someplace that I would not gladly go back to and see again. I really don't have a favorite country. Different places have different things to see and do, but all of them are interesting. To me, it's nice to be able to get out and see new places, but I never get tired of going back to places either.

I'm English, born in London. My favourite is France. There is such a variety of beautiful countryside. It also helps that I speak fluent French. I think to get the best out of a foreign holiday it helps if you have at least the basics of the local lingo. Enjoy your holidays.
