  • I plan to take a trip and I've to find an airline, besides Delta, that allows pets in the cabin. p.s. she is a 6lb dog.

    Almost all of the airlines do. I just did a quick search and I came across Delta, NW Airlines, Alaska Air, Singapore Air and so forth.. You shouldn't have trouble locating an airline. Just check their rules for breed, sizes, requirements, etc. I know dogs have to be checked by a vet to get on a plane and have a document from them clearnig them for travel.

not in britain they don't... only charter airlines take pets and then they are stowed in the hold

All major airlines allow a certain number of pets in the cabin. Usually, it is two per flight. Animals must be small enough to fit in a container that will be completely stowed underneath the seat and are not supposed to be allowed out at any time during the flight. (FAA regulation). There is usually a fee involved in bringing a pet onboard.

I see lots of people fly with little doggies or kitties. Ask what the airlines rules are for traveling with your pets. Most of them only require that they be in carriers.

Most allow..but alot have to go in the bottom of the plane. I brought back a 1.5 pound chi and they wouldn't let me take him on AEROMEXICO....(which is part of delta....) he had to go in a crate in the bottom. Finally, he came on a delta flight..in a doggy suit case..in the cabin...

any airline allows pets, it just depends on the size on the animal. good luck

I know United and American Airlines allow pets. However, depending on size, she may have to go in the belly of the plane. Whichever airline you decide to go with, do check their respective website for details about it. :)
