What would be the best airline to fly from Europe to North America?

Do you think you should need papers to get from America to Europe or from Europe to America?

• I think that if you feel like going to Europe then you can go and not have to get papers or pay extra money just because somebody is from america. Also its not fair for people who are coming from europe to america and have to pay extra or have to bring a bunch of papers to get in. WE SHOULD ALL BE TREATED EQUALLY. TRUST EVERYBODY! THERE SHOULD BE NO SUCH THING AS AN IMAGRANT!

  I don't know what papers that you are referring to. The standard form of identification for international travel is a valid passport. Passports are easily obtained, and when compared to the costs of travel in general, are not expensive. Holders of a U.S. passport are not required to obtain visas to enter the countries in the E.U. Likewise, citizens of those countries are not required to obtain a visa to visit the U.S. Once you arrive in Europe from the U.S. it is likely that you will not have to present your passport again when transiting from one E.U. country to another. If you are asked for identification, it is usually in a courteous manner and not an inconvenience at all. Border controls are put into place to protect you. Entering the U.S. post 9/11 is probably the most intrusive treatment that you'll see anywhere in the west. Unfortunately, it's a requirement of the times.
