Do you need a visa if your an American and traveling to Prauge and Budapest? My husband and I have a passport, but we're not sure if you need a visa to get into Hungary and the Czech Republic. Are they apart of the European Union? I know they have a different currancy, but I wasn't sure. Thanks!

Answer:
For a stay of 90 days, you won't need a visa to go to Prague and the Czech Republic as well as Budapest, Hungary. And yes, they are part of the EU.
