Is the viagogo website safe?

Problems with Viagogo tickets?

• Hi everyone! A couple of weeks ago, I tried buying tickets for the International Festival Of Country Music on viagogo and everytime I tried the transaction would fail and a message would come up asking me to try again because there was a problem with my credit card. Which I know wasn't true because it's a new credit card and I had enough money in my account to buy the tickets... so I tried, and tried several times and it would still not work. At first I thought it was because I was using a french credit card since I live in France but then I realized, why would there be a problem since it's an international website and everyone can buy from their website even if they don't live in America or the UK... so I tried the next day, and the next day again but still nothing... and one day I woke up and found out that they took 288 GBP from my account BUT I didn't receive an email saying they'd send the tickets to me or even a confirmation e-mail... the concert is in a couple of days AND I still don't know anything and they did take the money. I tried contacting them via email but they obviously didn't answer me. What should I do? Should I call them? Go to the police station? I'm afraid to call them since I don't speak English that well and I have an accent so I'm afraid they won't understand me correctly but I want my tickets or at least be refunded. Has it ever happened to you guys? do you have any advices? thanks!

  never used them, but first I would call, if no response (or not an acceptable response) then I would go to the police! m
