Where can I go for cheap travel abroad in august?

Where can I go with a travel budget of $1500?

  • I do NOT want to travel anywhere that I will see Americanization. I do NOT want to travel anywhere cold. I do NOT want to travel to Mexico, or anywhere dangerous for that matter. I would LIKE to travel somewhere French speaking. I would LOVE to be near the ocean with the palm trees and clear blue water. I want to experience other cultures; cultures that are HAPPY, unlike North American culture.

    I suggest you see a travel agency or look for a good one online. You have a budget in mind and some ideas of what you want to see and experience and they can help you with a travel package. ( if you try to find plane ticket and accommodation all by your self it's going to be a bit more pricy ) And every now and then a travel agency has really good offers and maybe you can find one that you like plus they can come up with a lot of places that you can choose from.

Sorry - not gonna happen Western culture is pretty much prevalent everywhere and there are not many places where you won't see Coca Cola signs and the like - and not for $1500........
