Where is the best place for shopping in Madrid?

Do you like shopping ? Which is your most favourite shopping place ?

• I love it and I am obsessed with it ! I have visited many large shopping malls in USA and UK and of course in India when I left 18 months back. But the one I am crazy about is Muhammad Mustafa in Singapore. As the taxi approaches this shop , a kind of hysteria sets into me and I get hypnotised ! They have everything what we people in Indian peninsula - meaning India , Bangladesh , Pakistan , Ceylon etc. It is a crazy shop ! Once I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the owner who looked a very modest and nice guy. I am so obsessed with this shop that I do a break journey in Singapore , go straight to Muhammad mustafa , do huge shopping and then catch next day's flight ! Another benefit is they are open for 24 hours. In our class teacher one day asked to map everyone personality - where and doing what you would like to die - people gave answers like doing worship , playing tennis etc , I said I would like to die shopping that too in Muhammad Mustafa in Singapore ! Quite keen to know what is view of others.

  It was Mustafa Shamsuddin when I first visited in 1991. Thereafter, I had 4 more occassions to visit Singapore and with the name changed to "Muhammad Mustafa" (not sure though) the quality of their products and services didn't change a bit. In Bangladesh we have "Bashundhara City Complex". I got the following from internet search: Bashundhara City is a shopping mall located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The owners claim it to be the largest shopping centre in South Asia, and the 12th largest in the world. Opened to the public on 6 August 2004, the mall is located at Panthapath, near Karwan Bazar, in Dhaka city. Bashundhara City is 21 stories tall, of which 8 are used for the mall and the remaining floors are used as the corporate headquarters of the Bashundhara Group. The mall has space for 2,500 retail stores and cafeterias and also possesses a large underground gymnasium, a multiplex styled movie theater and top floor food court along with an indoor theme park. The fully air-conditioned shopping mall with rooftop gardens is considered a modern symbol of the emerging city of Dhaka. Up to 25,000 people visit the mall daily, which is the first western style mall in the city. The cost of the building is more than $100 million; construction started in 1998. The building has been described as an indication of the severe division between the middle class and the lower class. It is one of the showcases of the development in Bangladesh. We had Eastern Plaza as the first "Shopping Mall" which now stands as poor-brother to BCC (Bashundhara City Complex). Jamuna Future Park is also being completed. The owner boasts it to be the best in Asia, of course these guys BCC & JFC have very large sizes ego too...lol!. Hope above helps.
