What are the airport body scanners?

Do you think airport body scanners are unconstitutional?

  • It seems to me that the new tsa body scanners go against the fourth amendment, which guards us against unreasonable searches and seizures. In my mind the new scanners are a form of strip search, with no probable cause. what do you think about the body scanners, and do you think they go against our fourth amendment?

  • Answer:

No. It's not your house. You gave permission by virtue of buying a plane ticket. If they set up scanners at in your house or on your driveway and forced you to go through them then that would be an issue, but flying on an airplane, with everything that comes with it, is a choice you made.
