  • Answer:

Kindly take the malaria tablets. You can dissolve them in water or soda and drink it all. You definately need malaria tablets as malaria is a killer and I dont want you dead. As for injection take Yellow Fever, Cholera

You'll need Hepatitis A, Diphteria, Tetanus, Polio and Yellow Fever vaccination. Depending on the duration of your stay (> 3 months) you'll need also Typhoid Fever, Hepatitis B, Rabies and Meningococcal vaccination. There is Malaria risk in Kenya all areas (including game parks) at altitudes below 2,500 m (<8,202 ft). No high risk in Nairobi. If you only go to Nairobi you only need anti-mosquito prevention against Malaria and Dengue Fever, i.e. 30%-50% DEET mosquito repellent and a bednet. If you go outside Nairobi you'll need Malaria tablets. You can take Malarone (atovaquone/proguanil), Lariam (mefloquine) or Doxycycline tablets. There's currently no vaccination available against Malaria.
